Who we are
Studysocialsciences.cz is a website of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. The purpose of the website is to present the Bachelor and Master programs taught in English to the prospective students and to allow them to contact the Faculty’s representatives via a form or a chat.

This website uses cookies, through which it stores information on your computer via the internet browser. The data from the contact form (name, e-mail address, program) are not stored in any database. We only use this information to answer your questions. Analytics
We use the Google Analytics service which tracks website visitor traffic and stores data anonymously. This data does not allow tracking of the online behaviour of an individual person.
Chat
Smartsupp allows users to collect the name, e-mail address and phone number of visitors via pre-chat and offline form. Additionally visitors can send any of their personal data in a chat conversation. The data from the chat (name, e-mail address, program) are not stored in any database of the Faculty of Social Sciences. We only use this information to answer your questions. We do not use the data for marketing purposes (e.g. we do not send unsolicited newsletters or marketing announcements, etc.) and we do not provide the data for these purposes to third parties.
Other than that, Smartsupp may collect various technical information such as IP address, pages browsed, device type, browser type, screen resolution etc.

Who we share your data with
The data collected from visitors to our site is processed and shared with Google Analytics, a service run by Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Our plugins send requests to third party APIs via website-visitor’s web browser to fetch information. This request made by a web browser may include an IP address, which can then be seen by the third-party that it’s being requested from. This API request doesn’t include any personal data of the website user other than the IP address.
How long we retain your data
Your data from the contact form are not stored in any database.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal, or security purposes.
