Geopolitical Studies (GPS)

"The debates we have here are very lively, you'll get insights into different perspectives and we have opportunities to network as well."
Ronan Wordsworth
GPS student

The GPS program analyses and explores various and often inter-related processes that shape global geopolitics and geoeconomics, particularly in geostrategic regions. It focuses on cutting-edge theoretical concepts. The program will cultivate your analytical skills and allow you to take advantage of the multidisciplinary nature of the Faculty of Social Sciences. You will be encouraged to connect different fields of study and combine a global perspective with attention to detail and local interests. Therefore, the program is an excellent stepping stone for both future academic and professional career.

The GPS program is part of the double degree scheme in collaboration with National Taiwan University (NTU). It offers a limited number of places to the students of both institutions. Based on the selection process organized during the first year, several GPS students will have a chance to get the second diploma in East Asian Studies at NTU during the second year.

GPS has been accepted to the fast-track list of the Danish Ministry of Education, therefore Danish students can have their studies funded by Denmark and receive the SU student grant
