International Relations (MAIN)

"The underlying idea of this program is that in order to understand politics, we need to understand its international, global dimension."
Michal Parízek
MAIN coordinator

MAIN will provide you with the knowledge and analytical skills to understand the international context of politics, economy, and security, how international and European politics work, and what are the challenges faced by states, as well as business, NGOs and individuals in the globalized world. You will learn about the key points of contestation in world politics, but also how international conflicts can be productively transformed into cooperation. In addition, the program puts an emphasis on the development of analytical capabilities and critical thinking.

As our graduate, you can become highly valued experts in national and European administrations and diplomacy, but also businesses, NGOs, and media.

The program offers a double degree option in cooperation with the University of Konstanz in Germany. Applicants for the double degree program are selected after the first semester based on their study results,  and will receive two Master diplomas.
